One thing people seem to do after RNY is get a tattoo somehow commemorating their weightloss. Sometimes it’s a dress or a tape measure or something. I don’t think I’d go for that.
BUT someone was getting a tattoo recently to celebrate their “rebirth.” A phoenix. Hers is going to have writing turning into flames and go all down her side, which is a lot more than I’d like. Plus, I can’t stand letters in tattoos. But the phoenix idea? A little Harry Potter mixed with a little avian mixed with rebirth (or, as I like to think of it, reinvention). I totally love that. I may have to steal it!
